Mug #257/2025

Coloured porcelain mug (pink, green and white) with Neodymium and White Cliffs Opal at the top and Southern Ocean interior. Holds 330ml.

This is a nice mug from my last batch of rainbow porcelain, where I played fast and loose with fluxy glaze combinations and mostly got away with it. This beauty has a bit of a crawl inside the rim where the three glazes meet. With all those drips it is not a candidate for re-firing.

Being porcelain the clay is fully vitrified and therefore the mug is completely functional and the flaw is only cosmetic. The rest of this batch have all sold since they were made in November.
